Book Review: Atomic Habits_Why Tiny Changes Make a Big Difference

I can be the person I want to become so quickly. Just living the person’s life today makes me the person I want to be. I know that sounds funny, though, I think that is the only way to make my dreams come true realistically. I know that, in many ways, we need a long time to achieve what we desire. However, dreams sometimes put us away from them because of their greatness. It is overwhelming us. Whereas trivial daily habits can make us who we are in the long run.

Who do I want to be? What kind of person am I? What do I want to do? For me, these three questions are very important based on the content of Chapter 2.

I read books for the sheer enjoyment of it, not to achieve reader status. I am the type of individual who genuinely enjoys reading. However, upon closer examination, I am inclined to read books due to my inquisitive nature and my penchant for acquiring new knowledge. What I wanted to do was more important to me than what kind of person I wanted to be. However, I realized that the type of person I desired to be has shaped my personality thus far.  I believe that the process has contributed to my comprehension of my identity. I think that the process has helped me to better understand who I am. Also, this self-awareness assists me in identifying the habits I need to develop. I approached to determine why I desired to engage in the activities that I typically partake in. I simply felt that I enjoyed the activity in question. Now I believe that the habits I've developed over time, as well as the values I've instilled in myself, have influenced what I enjoy doing. So far, my identity has been formed by what I enjoy doing and what I have become accustomed to doing. I think self-awareness can lead to the continuation of necessary and essential habits while also causing unnecessary habits to cease.
